A sightseeing tour along the most representative streets of Gdansk will bring closer the complex character and the former splendor of the city on the Motlava river. The route leads along the best known historical monuments of Gdansk: the Golden Gate, the Main Town Hall, the Neptune Fountain plus many more. A full-day tour is an offer for anybody wanting to explore the exciting Tricity in one day. First you will see Oliwa, one of the most beautiful quarters of Gdańsk. A visit to the 16th century Cathedral and vast park is an obligatory stop for every tour. Heading back to Gdańsk City Center you will have the opportunity to tour 'Amber' PGE Arena, one of four Polish football stadiums, built for EURO 2012. Next stop will be the cradle of Solidarity movement - Gdańsk Shipyard, followed by a cruise on the route to Westerplatte - a symbolic place of the start of 2nd World War. Sacred art monuments, magnificent organ music and elaborate natural compositions will satisfy the most demanding tourists. |
