• Is a public organization with almost 180 years history; the first Polish Engineering Association, named Polish Polytechnical Society, found in 1835 in Paris.

• Affiliates 39 branch Engineering Associations representing all fields of technology (ca. 100.000 individual members).
• Has 48 local branches and 33 Houses of Technology all over the country at its disposal, providing their members with modern technology equipment ready for rendering different services.
• Is a Member of many international non-governmental organizations, including WFEO and FEANI
• A Technical Review (in Polish "Przeglad Techniczny") published since 1866, is a press organ of FSNT-NOT.

The strategic objective of the Federation is to support innovative companies and innovativeness of the Polish economy. The sector of small and medium-sized enterprises is the area of particular interest.
FSNT-NOT conducts extensive activities to promote technical innovations and their creators. We do this by organizing:
1) Annual Engineering Forum
2) Technical Review Plebiscite for the title of the Golden Engineer
3) The Master of Technology competition
4) Regional Technology Days
FSNT-NOT puts a lot of emphasis on stimulating interest in the general technology of children and young people and targeting them to become future engineers and technicians.

Pomeranian Council of the Federation of Engineering Associations Federation of Engineering Associations (NOT) located in Gdansk, Rajska 6 street is an organizational unit of the Federation of terrain NOT in Poland.

House of Technology is located in the beautiful scenery of the Old Town of Gdansk, near the historic Great Mill and the fourteenth-century church of St. Catherine. It is the seat of the Council of Pomeranian FSNT NOT and 18 industry associations, scientific-technical, bringing together a total of about 4 thousand engineers and technicians. In their ranks they focus eminent experts representing almost all areas of technology and sectors of the economy. History of Polish Federation of Engineering in Gdansk dating back to the 50's and uninterrupted to the present day is a meeting of representatives of science and technology at regional, national and international levels.
